Who, What & Where Are We?
Orchard del Sol, located in southern Costa Rica, is a small farm that produces and exports ecological & ethically grown products.
Black Pepper, Coffee, and Cacao are the main focus. Vanilla is grown as a hobby and is hand pollinated. Visitors and Guests enjoy learning about the areas flora and fauna. Harvesting of the farms production allows for hands on experience. Fair trade and fair wage practices are part of the sustainability. Carole & Joanne market the products grown and produced at Orchard del Sol through the Saskatoon Farmers Market, via on-line sales, and through others who act as ambassadors with like minded ideals. Carole Thomas has over 16 years experience living between Canada and Costa Rica. She provides guests with a unique and interesting view of Costa Rica culture & its ecology.
